Senior and Family Photography in Hershey, PA and Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania
Hi everyone, meet Maddie. She is one of the high school seniors I was privileged to photograph this year. If I could describe Maddie in a few words, I'd say confident, organized, and visionary. This is a girl who is going somewhere in life!
Country Joy Flowers
She knew immediately that she wanted her first look to be more playful and whimsical, and the other more sophisticated and modern. For her first senior photo session, we chose to partner with Country Joy Flowers in Elizabethtown, PA. They have a beautiful patch of farm fresh flowers, perfect for that whimsical look.
If there's one thing I always tell my senior girls, it's this: Pay attention to your hair. It will make or break your portrait. If you aren't confident doing your own hair (like me), we can get you an appointment with a professional hair stylist. If you are savvy with the styling tools, more power to you! Whatever you do, give it a little extra love for your shoot.
Call me crazy, but I just love the senior girl stare. Don't you?
The Hotel Hershey
For her second senior photo session, we decided to meet at The Hotel Hershey, in Hershey, PA. This iconic building has a perfectly manicured courtyard complete with white greco-roman pillars, two different fountains, and a beautiful white staircase leading down to the parking area.
She chose a sophisticated blue-grey tank paired with white skinny jeans and chunky heels, topped off with a string of her grandmother's pearls. Now that is one classy lady!
To switch things up a bit, she changed into a casual white shirt, distressed jeans, Converse sneakers and brown leather jacket.
To complete our session, she quickly changed into her university shirt to represent where she was headed. Penn State proud, baby!
You rocked it, Maddie! Thank you for choosing me as your photographer for your 2020 portraits. What an honor! I wish you all the success you deserve in life.
